We are offering a full-tuition scholarship to five deserving Arizona residents, removing the financial barriers to a life-changing career in the skilled trades.

According to the state's BuildItAZ initiative, Arizona needs to fill an estimated 20,000 new construction and trades jobs by 2030 to keep pace with economic development. The Spark Scholarship is our commitment to closing that gap by empowering the next generation of professionals who keep our state running.

The Spark Scholarship covers the full tuition for any of our five Career Accelerator programs. Each program is an immersive online and interactive simulation training course designed to give you the skills and on-the-job best practices employers are looking for right now.
Choose your trade:
Electrical Career Accelerator: This course is designed to fast-track your career as an electrician, covering everything from essential electrical concepts and mathematics to advanced topics like circuit design, AC/DC power, and troubleshooting.
HVAC Career Accelerator: Launch a successful career in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. This comprehensive program covers everything from fundamental HVAC concepts and safety to specialized skills like ductwork fabrication, electrical applications, and refrigeration system troubleshooting.
Plumbing Career Accelerator: Get equipped with the job-ready skills needed to succeed in the plumbing industry. This course covers every critical facet of the trade—from foundational concepts and safety practices to hands-on applications like pipe joining and fixture installation.
Residential Construction Career Accelerator: This program empowers you with the hands-on skills for today's residential building environment. It covers a full spectrum of disciplines, including carpentry, framing, roofing, interior and exterior finishing, and the fundamentals of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing for construction.
Solar Career Accelerator: Launch your career in the dynamic field of solar energy. The program begins with essential electrical fundamentals before diving into the heart of solar technology, covering photovoltaic foundations, solar cell and module design, and inverter technology.

How to Apply: Your Chance to "Build It Big"
We want to hear your story. We're looking for five individuals with the passion and vision to build big things in the trades. To apply for the Spark Scholarship, simply follow these steps.
- Review the Programs: Choose which of the five Career Accelerator programs above is the right fit for you.
- Submit an Application to Talk with Our Team: Use our application form to schedule a conversation with a Tradez advisor. We’ll confirm your eligibility and next steps. Start your application.
- Share How You’ll Build It Big in the Trades: Think about how you’ll build it big in the trades. Include your statement in the application or be ready to discuss it during your call.
A team at Tradez will review all submissions and select winners based on the passion and vision demonstrated in their statements. As a condition of the scholarship, recipients agree to provide an honest testimonial within 30 days of completing their program.
Scholarship at a Glance
- Award: Full program tuition ($1,999 value).
- Eligibility: Open to all Arizona residents. Applicants must be 18 years or older.
