Student Refund Policy

1. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds are available under the following circumstances, based on the program's duration, defined as total clock hours, with access provided for 12 months. Refunds are calculated using the last date of course activity (e.g., accessing course modules, completing assignments, or engaging with the platform) or the date we receive your written withdrawal notice, whichever is later. For refund purposes, a student is considered withdrawn if they have no course activity for 30 consecutive calendar days, though access to the course remains available for the full 12 months.

Cancellation Within 7 Days of Signing

  • Students may cancel their enrollment agreement within 7 days (excluding Saturday, Sunday, and state/federal holidays) of signing by submitting a written notice.
  • A full refund (100%) of all tuition and fees paid will be issued within 30 days.

Withdrawal Before Course Start

  • Students who withdraw at any time before the course start date (when access is granted) are eligible for a full refund (100%) of tuition and fees paid.

Withdrawal After Course Start

  • Students who withdraw after the course starts are eligible for a pro-rata refund based on the percentage of the program's clock hours completed, as follows:
    • If ≤10% of clock hours are completed: At least 90% refund of tuition.
    • If >10% but ≤20% of clock hours are completed: At least 80% refund of tuition.
    • If >20% but ≤30% of clock hours are completed: At least 70% refund of tuition.
    • If >30% but ≤40% of clock hours are completed: At least 60% refund of tuition.
    • If >40% but ≤50% of clock hours are completed: At least 50% refund of tuition.
    • If >50% of clock hours are completed: No refund.
  • The percentage completed is based on clock hours elapsed (hours engaged with course content) relative to the total program hours, as tracked by the platform.

Technical Issues

  • If students cannot access the course for 72 hours due to verified technical issues caused by our platform (excluding user errors like forgotten passwords), they are eligible for a pro-rata refund based on the percentage of clock hours remaining, per the scale above.
  • Tradez is committed to providing consistent and available technical platforms and support, striving for Service Level Agreements of 97% uptime or higher.

Instructor Cancellations

  • If Tradez cancels a course, a full refund (100%) of tuition and fees paid will be provided.

Dissatisfaction

  • If a student is dissatisfied with the course, they may request a refund within 30 days of the course start date by providing detailed feedback.
  • The refund will follow the pro-rata scale above, based on the percentage of clock hours completed at the time of the request.

2. Refund Process

Submit Refund Request

To request a refund:

  • Visit our support page at https://thetradez.com/contact
  • Include in your request:
    • Full name
    • Course name
    • Reason for the refund request
    • Payment receipt or transaction details
    • For cancellations within 7 days of signing, include the date the enrollment agreement was signed

Review and Decision

  • Refund requests are reviewed within 5 business days
  • Students will be notified of the decision and, if approved, the refund amount
  • For cancellations within 7 days of signing, approval is automatic if timely

Refund Timeline

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days and issued to the original payment method
  • Refunds for 7-day cancellations will be issued within 30 calendar days of receiving the cancellation notice

3. Non-Refundable Items

  • Study materials or tools purchased separately
  • Tuition for any portion of the program completed beyond 50% of clock hours, as outlined above
